The Vidyalaya also conducts many other training programs like Agarbatti, Dhoop, Candle, Perfume & Attar making, Bakery Products, Instant Mix Products Making, Phenol & Detergent Making (Cleaning Products), Fancy Leather & Rexine goods, Handmade Paper Bags, Cloth Bag, Herbal Beauty Products, Cooking & Catering Training, Basic to Advance Cake Making, Basic to Advance Chocolate Making, Papad Making, Fancy Cushion, Fancy Cover Making, Readymade Nauwari Sari Making, Special Blouse Making, Home Chef Training, Jelly & Fancy Candle, Soyabean Products, Diwali Faral Products, Beautician Training, Entrepreneur Awareness Program etc. Every year Vidyalaya trained around 2500 to 3500 trainees. Kasturba Mahila Khadi Gramodyog Vidyalaya has been continuing post-training follow-up. Our trainees started their units and they have become self-reliant. Not only that, but they have also generated employment for other women. Apart from KVIC’s regular programs, the Vidyalaya conducts various training programs for other agencies like District Industries Centre (DIC), Pune, District Rural Development Agency (DRDA), Zilha Parishad, Pune, Mahila Arthik Vikas Mahamandal (MAVIM), Pune, Agriculture Department of Govt. of Maharashtra and other NGO’s and Self Help Groups (SHG) members.

Masala Making Training

While considering the increasing demand for Village Industries training and to create sustainable livelihood opportunities, the Vidyalaya started Masala Making training in 1997 as a part of its skill development programs. The objective of the training is to promote self-employment among rural youth, women, and marginalized sections of society by providing practical skills in spice processing and small-scale entrepreneurship.

Readymade Garment and Tailoring Training is another area in which women can earn money and become self-sufficient. Hence we started Readymade Garment and Tailoring training in the year 1994-95. While considering the demand for fashionable outfits, we started this training in the year 2008-09.

Fruits and Vegetable Processing and Preservation Training

India is an agricultural country. More than 30% of agricultural production gets wasted due to a lack of processing and preservation facilities which is called post-harvest loss. While considering the availability of raw materials and market potential for value-added products the Vidyalaya started Fruits and Vegetable processing and Preservation training in the year 2000-01.
